DESCRIPTION

The Nerve Spa Knee is based off of a clinically proven, non-invasive, non-drug treatment option for osteoarthritis (OA) of the knee. The Nerve Spa Knee system delivers a proprietary electrical signal that stimulates the joint tissue to reduce the pain and symptoms of Osteoarthritis and Rheumatoid Arthritis, and helps maintain the overall health of the knee joint.

The Nerve Spa Knee is a hybrid development using the technical specifications of the Nerve Spa combined with the technical specifications of the Jstim Joint stimulator.  The Jstim device is backed by over 15 years of positive results in treating the joint.

Nerve Spa Knee’s advanced signal was designed specifically for the treatment of pain and symptoms of knee OA and RA, however, the device can be used for other knee pain ailments and to ultimately prevent the deterioration of the knee joint by active individuals.

The Nerve Spa stimulates the joint, the tissue, the tendons, ligaments and the cartilage. Our proprietary hybrid-programming works to regenerate cartilage and improve the overall health of the joint. It is a slow-acting, aggregate therapy, to help progressively improve the knee’s function.

The Nerve Spa Joint Pro is built with comfort and convenience in mind:

The Joint Pro works by sending tiny electrical signals to the joint over a 2.5 hour therapy session to help relieve pain, increase blood circulation, and therapeutically treat the symptoms associated with OA and RA.

Use for other Knee disorders such as: KNEE SPRAIN

A sprain is an injury to a ligament, the bands of tissue that connect a bone to another at a joint. The severity of a sprain can be characterized by the amount of tissue tearing, impact on joint stability, pain and/or swelling.

LIGAMENT INJURY

The knee joint relies on ligaments (ACL, PCL, MCL, LCL) and surrounding muscles for stability, so they can be easily injured. Any direct contact to the knee or rapid direction changes while moving can injure a knee ligament.

RUNNERS’ KNEE

Runners’ knee, also known as patellofemoral pain syndrome, is described as pain located beneath or around the kneecap. Running can cause irritation where the kneecap rests on the thigh bone (femur) and the pain is aggravated by bending at the knees and using stairs. Stiffness in the knee after prolonged sitting is also a symptom of runners knee.

OSTEOARTHRITIS

Osteoarthritis, also known as degenerative joint disease, is the most common type of arthritis. Osteoarthritis is more likely to develop as people age and have increased weight on the joint. The onset of osteoarthritis usually occurs slowly over many years. Inflammation and injury to the joint cause a breaking down of cartilage tissues, resulting in pain, swelling, and deformity of the joint.

The targeted Joint Stimulation is cumulative and combinational to provide clear and apparent progressive results.

The following is a summary of an independent study completed for Technology contained within the Joint Pro device

Five women ranging in age from 51 to 68 with radiologically diagnosed OA of the knee, suffering chronic pain which limited their activity level and in some cases interfered with sleep, received home treatment for 10 weeks. Three indicators were compared before and after treatment: (1) qualitapatients reported that their knee pain and function showed substantial; (2) a 44-point subjective quantitative Lower Extremity Functional Scale was customized for this population, and improvement for the group averaged 33% (9.4 was measured by a physician, and increase for the group averaged 19% (11 degrees) with 4 of 5 patients improving. Three of the 5 patients showed improvement in all 3 indicators, and among the 15 individual indicators positive change occurred in 87% (13 of 15). In this trial the Jstim demonstrated excellent potential for reducing pain and dysfunction caused by osteoarthritis in the knee.
